The CFF Formula for Food Cravings

Do you obsessively crave foods? Would you like to control those cravings? Well, there’s a simple formula you can use that will help you do just that.

The CFF is a formula created to help YOU identify foods that will either suppress cravings or heighten cravings.

Foods can be broken down into two categories (Buffer Foods) or (Trigger Foods)

Buffer Foods – are foods that make us feel full and satisfied, crushing cravings.

Trigger Foods – are foods that make us crave and want to eat more.

Here is how to determine the Craving Factor of a food:

Take the (total number of carbohydrate grams) and subtract the (dietary fiber grams) and (protein grams) from that number.

Total Carbohydrates grams ………18g
Dietary fiber grams ……………………..1g
Protein grams …………………………. 2g
(CF=15)
Anything below 10 is a great Buffer Food helping suppress appetite and cravings.

Anything 10 or greater is a Trigger Food that will creating cravings and binge eating. The higher above 10 it goes worse your cravings will become.
