Buffer Foods – are foods that make us feel full and satisfied, crushing cravings.

Trigger Foods – are foods that make us crave and want to eat more.

Here is how to determine the Craving Factor of a food:

Take the (total number of carbohydrate grams) and subtract the (dietary fiber grams) and (protein grams) from that number.

Total Carbohydrates grams ………18g
Dietary fiber grams ……………………..1g
Protein grams …………………………. 2g
(CF=15)
